ABOUT US
How the group was set up
Penrose Health was established by our Managing and Clinical Partners, Sunil and Sarah, who recognised the increasing pressures facing general practice and the need for a more sustainable way of delivering high-quality NHS care.
Both remain closely involved in the clinical leadership and direction of the organisation.
The group model was created to support practices to work together rather than operate in isolation, allowing shared learning, stronger clinical leadership, and professional operational support.
By bringing practices together, Penrose is able to invest in systems, people, and development in a way that would be difficult for individual practices to achieve alone.
This approach is designed to protect time for patient care, support teams to do their jobs well, and create a working environment that is resilient, supportive, and focused on long-term improvement.
Penrose remains clinically led, with decisions rooted in real experience of frontline primary care.
